Looks like Austrian and Spanish tennis are headed for a nosedive; a lot of their stalwart players are going.

I'll miss Amanda Coetzer...
I liked here a lot...
(btw... my bad reputation points are due to one poster who's trying to give me a bad name... hope you are all mature enough to understand I'm not that bad... ;))

I'll be sorry to see Iva go. Barbara aswell, although she isn't going to improve her results. It's just a shame she never could regain the from of 1999. Amanda aswell?! I'm always upset to see someone from the old school leave, she will be sorely missed. I watched some great fights between Arantxa and Amanda, always brought out the best in each other. Karina Habsudova, I was on court 2 Wimbledon 2000 when she came close to beating Monica, I always cheered for her after that but she never managed any good results.
I'ts never easy watching players leave :( !

its a shame Coetzer never won a slam.
she was in a era dominated by Graf and Seles and later Hingis.
So it was extremely tough at that point in time
