Will the Williams or Sharapova play doubles in AO?

Does anyone know if the Williams sisters are expected to play doubles @ the AO? They are playing in the HK exhibition, so I was just wondering. :)

Also, is Maria planning on playing doubles or mixed. I think she played @ the USO with Mirnyi??. It would be nice to see her playing one of the doubles events. :)

I highly doubt the Sisters will do to Serena's injury.

I'm sure they won't make the same mistake Venus made at Wimbledon in 2003.

I would love to see Maria and Serena play doubles. What a team that would make.

I'd rather just see Venus and Serena play doubles and hope it happens more often this year. That would be an extra treat.

Sharapova and Tanasugarn again would be a good team :)

At the US Open some commentators said while Maria isn't that successfull in doubles, she will try mixed doubles more often than playing doubles...
