ahhhh I'm so excited! Listen to this!! I got the tennis channel hooked up this morning before I left for my classes and the first thing on was some Becker/Rusedski match, not too interesting...so as I was in the bathroom brushing my teeth, I could have sworn I heard Lindsay's voice. I run out to the living room, and there she is going through her house!! It was the coolest thing, and she was hilarious...she went to the trophy case and showed the Wimbledon trophy and was like "I didn't think it would be quite this small..." because it's TINY, and "the runner-up trophy is actually a lot bigger" LOL She also has her dogs painted on a few rooms...and she has a telescope, and she said "it's really cool because you can look into peoples' houses and see like their dish soap!" She has A LOT of purses and shoes, she is very girly, and loves to spend time in the bathtub recuperating. They also showed her husband, asleep on the bed with one of their dogs. Lindsay is soooo awesome!

wow, it's like it was MTV Cribs or something! If it's on again, you'll have to tape it because here in the UK, we don't get the Tennis channel - I would so love to see that! :woohoo:

If it comes on again I will try my best to record it! It wasn't a scheduled program, something like an extended commercial, called Timeout or something. They also have this thing called Bag Check where they go through players' bags to see what they have. It was very clean and spacious, not a gawdy mansion but I think I could survive in it! lol Another funny thing was that there is this huge poster of some tennis thing (kinda retro looking) and Lindsay was like "I don't know what that is, my mom put it up..." and then rolled her eyes; it sounded like she wanted to say "I hate that fucking thing!" LOL

I've wanted to trade matches with a lot of you in the past but we've had problems (especially with you brits!! lol) because you use PAL while we use NTSC. But I now have dvd recording capabilities, so if there are any matches you're dying to see, I can now send dvds! I can also get you that clip of Lindsay touring her house! ;)

I would imagine DVD's would be the same in the UK and USA... if not, the makers are just bastards. It makes no sense, it's like making different CD's!

Our family room has a multi-region DVD player and I also have a special disc thingy for my Playstation 2 that turns my console into a multi-region dvd player. I buy USA region 1 (NTSC) DVDs all the time! So, if you record something for me I can watch it ;)

-Rache

If any of you have a PS2 and want to turn it into a multi region player, HMV sell the disc for it here at £9.99: http://www2.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/simpleSearch.do?pGroupID=-1&simpleSearchString=region+x&primaryID=-1&btnSearchGo.x=15&btnSearchGo.y=11

But you also need an RGB cable (ie Red, Green, Blue colour channels). An RGB cable can be purchased from Game here at £14.99: http://shop.game.net/ViewProduct.aspx?cat=10314&mid=321914

USA dvd's will play with out the RGB cable, but only in black and white. I recommend them.....I have quite a few USA dvd's. I often buy them from the USA when they're still on the cinema in the UK and for about £10 inc P&P.

The RGB cable is used in place of the usual wire that conects the PS2 to your TV. The RGB cable has a scart plug that plugs into your TV and there is also two extra leads attached (that I don't use) which are the colours red and white. There is a switch on the scart cable that switches it to either "game" or "DVD". When playing a non-UK region DVD, the switch would have to be on the "game" option as that is RGB mode.

Hope this is clear for you. :D
