Sorry if this has been mentioned before but I was looking at Venus' 2005 schedule and it would seem she is missing Berlin and J&S next year, surely this is a mistake as she has a lot of points to defend!

maybe she's just gonna play rome this year

then play warsaw and berlin in 2006- (should these tourneys be around by then)

How do you know she's not playing Warsaw and Berlin?

One of the things that i have noticed about Venus' previous schedules is that there really is no patter other than she will most likely play the grand slams and the year end championships. All of the other smaller non slam tourneys dont really matter, she seems to just go to wherever she wants to visits in terms of what places and cultures interest her. i cant say that about any other player. this is part of the uniqueness that makes venus williams a very interesting person. i like her attitude.

She does usually play in both of these places though..so I would expect her to play those two for sure, since Serena always plays Rome. I'm sure she'll still play these two tournaments though....hopefully:)

Go Venus! I hope she goes to Indian Wells, she never does though.

Sorry, don't see God
conscerning himself with this as
Venus said it would take an act
from the man upstairs to get her back!

She picked up Amelia which will more than make up for J&S and frankly she's probably expecting to pick up alot of new points before the clay season so defending Berlin is probably not a worry for her.

Hopefully she'll win Antwerp and
get her racquet!

Antwerp is a T2 and can replace J&S
if she does decide to skip it.
