Santa didn't come to the slums of Brooklyn, so I never believed in Santa Claus to begin with.

I didn't coddle the twins, either. No santa for me is no santa for them. When they were old enough, I explained the bad news, NO santa clause. But I explained the good news, movie-star icon mother with lots of dough. They got the picture.

When I was 6 my big brother always told me that Santa wasnt real and i argued with him. One day we were fighting over it, a fist fight actually, i was 6 he was 10, and my mom screamed at us and told us santa wasnt real. I was mortified.

When I was 7, because he didn't bring me the gift I wanted. But I wasn't upset because I had already suspected it.

I was horsing around with my brother and the bedlam spilled into my mom's bedroom. My brother clotheslined me across the bed and I landed on a pile of toys on the other side of the bed. Confused, I immediately called in my sister and in one fell swoop, I ruined the idea of Santa Claus for the three of us. My mom was pissed because she thought my sister still had another year or two to believe in Santa. Anyway, we played with most of the toys that day.

Hmmmm, when I discovered the present that Santa was supposed to bring me when Christmas came round in a few days' time, my mother was like "of course, blah, blah" ... and I was thinking like "yeah, yeah, makes sense..." It clicked into place that I'd always thought the story didn't add up, and I'd never really believed it ... just sort of accepted it. I guess I must have been about 7 or 8.

****BAD JOKE ALERT****
Santa Clause, on the other hand, is very much alive. I rented it last night, and I still say it's Tim Allen's best movie. :p
