Its a petition to contest a crual act towards a dying animal. On the last 11th of November a sick, diyng dog was brutally hanged in the backyard of a public high-school with students as witness, in a city called Almodover.
This petition is for the Mayor of that City to understand that we will not let this situation go unpunished. Those who committed that horrible act were employees of that school and the fact that they lack education and that they didn't know better IT'S NOT AN EXCUSE for what they did.
Please sign this petition...
As a portuguese I am terribly ashamed because this kind of situtions keeps on going unpunished.
When u sign the petition you'll find 5 boxes: your name, e-mail address
a comment, where u came from and or IDnumber
And that's all
Here's the website:

I'm scared to sign petitions, that's how Judy Holliday ended up in "Red Channels."

Whatever happened to Judy Holliday?

Whatever happened to Judy Holliday? She had a relatively nice 1950's with another Broadway hit and a handful of largely well-produced, well-done movies (all comedies except for a few), but certainly nothing as good as you'd expect from an AA-winner. She overcame Red Channels after quite a brilliant interrogation by HUAC, the transcript is on the Internet somewhere. She got married, had a son, and then got divorced. She made some bad investments and had surgery for breast cancer in 1960 and found herself with really large unpaid medical bills, but bounced back and did a few so-so shows and was trying to raise money in late 1962 for a show she really wanted to do, when the breast cancer returned and she died in early 1963. She was only like 43 or something. Apparently she was borderline suicidal in the early 60's over the turn her life had taken, and her mother and other family actually considered and did for a time hide from her the rediagnosis in 1962 because they thought she'd kill herself, but they had to tell her, and she apparently had the opposite reaction and was a real trooper.

Not quite the Billie Dawn fate. She had like a 150 IQ and initially wanted to do playwriting. If you really read about her, she was about as far off from Billie Dawn as Gloria Swanson was from Norma Desmond.
