but if you read why he was given the person of the year award, you'd know that Time magazine has different view of him in mind....

Indeed...the writer of the article from TIME was on the TODAY show this morning. He explained that it is not necessarily an honor. It is for better of for worse. Actually...Bush's competition for the distinction was Al-Zarqawi, Michael Moore and Mel Gibson.............:p From what he explained...Al-Zarqawi was really close in the running....:eek:

I was in the final 3 in 1959 after my glorious Oscar win that topped off a legendary career of dramas, musicals, and comedies, at which all I was equally adept and ultra-talented. But they gave it to Ike. I mean, what the hell, Ike had 8 years to win. And though I certainly liked Ike, he really isn't going to go down as an all-time great in the President category either.

I think it's biased towards U.S. Presidents.
