it's 55 m.p.h. in Florida in most of I-95 and other major highways, which is very slow ...

I'm a bit of a speed demon so whatever I can do without getting caught :tape: :o

The funny thing is that I've only gotten one ticket in my life and it was for going 23 in a 20... I went ot trafic school which was a joke to get it off my record :fiery:

Before or after the cops hit their quota?

65 on the interstates outside major cities - but how fast you can go before they pull you over varies.

And if conservatives come to power, will be 80mph *votes conservative*

70mph was introduced when cars had crap safety. Going 70 back in the 60's (or was it 70's) would be as dangerous as like 100mph or more in modern cars :p

 You can go 10% over the speed limit before getting fined, so you have to be going 34 m.p.h before you get fined ;)

50 on streets, 60 on major major roads, and anywhere between 70 and 100 on the highway, and 110 when you're in the middle of nowhere.

At least that's what it generally is in BC.

*note, all units are in kilometers per hour*

55 mph on highways, 30 in town, and 40 mph on the road I live on. The nearest interstate is 70 mph.

in singapore. the major expressways. are 90kmh-100kmh. and on normal streets it 50-60kmh. and if you are in town NOW. its 20-30kmh. its not the limit. but it just how fast you can go. because of the many people there now. my dad goes up to 130 on the expressways. my goes there too. but she's never gotten a ticket she's got letters of commendation for good driving. the irony.

Don't know about that. In theory it should be above 34mph but somehow they manage to get fined by doing 31. :o Anyway, I'm didn't know that till my mum told me after my dad's friend was catch by the police because he was doing 100mph in a 70mph motorway and I was there when that happened. :o

In my area, it's what I say it is. They know not to pull me over, and if they do, then I just give them an autograph and go on about my business.
