was on C5 last night at 10pm, it was quite funny really.
Ugly celebs do find the most gorgeous girls though (lucky *******)

and that playboy model just sat there for over an hour flirting with passers by and no one went to chat to her apart from this one ugly old guy on a girls bike.

did anyone else see it ??

this is what it was about.
Is She Really Going Out with Him?
Scientists attempt to ascertain why attractive women are often drawn to ugly men, citing factors such as power, fame, confidence, humour and intelligence as key elements in the unpredictable world of sexual attraction. In order to test these theories, women are asked to grade the looks of celebrities with subliminal `power' images included, while a playboy model lies on a beach to determine what kind of men are more likely to have the nerve to chat her up. Scientists also discuss the possibility that sexual partners are selected subconsciously on the basis of genetic smells.

Same reason why attractive men attracted ugly ass women....I be like What the fuck?! lol....I know i aint the best lookin nicca on earth but I know im attractive..and I've fucked wit some people that were....lol i guess not so attractive...but it was what they did for me sexually...rather how they looked. ;) so I guess thats one answer to the question. LOL thats sounds shallow but its true.

Scientists also discuss the possibility that sexual partners are selected subconsciously on the basis of genetic smells.Very true, I also believe in that. I think that some women have the ability to "smell" right from the beginning if the genes of her partner fit to her owns and if he would be a valuable candidate as a father.

Other reasons are of course money (which lazy woman who is a loser in her job and who can't financially care for herself would deny marrying an ugly, but rich man?) or different tastes when it comes to "beauty". What is beautiful is mainly defined by mainstream, but not all people are thinking like that.

I dont believe all of this money answers. At least with an "ugly" guy a woman feels more beautiful.. also he is unlikely to have a wondering eye cause hey, who else is gonna do the ugly guy. thats my words of wisdom on this complex issue.

I didn't see the show last night (I was thinking about it but I felt a little bit 'drained' after the "Whitney's Addiction" show before this and then I didn't think I'd like this show ;) ) but I caught the very very (very!) beginning of it...

Okay, I didn't see the show ;) but I think this kind of thing is quite subjective - someone who is 'ugly' (I hate that word) to one person is very attractive to another. Speaking personally, I do not really 'go' for 'conventional' good looks... :) Brad Pitt, I'm sorry, please stay with Jennifer, lol... ;) Not that I think I am attractive...

(There is something else I want to say too... Aaargh... ;) Eloquence is nice in a man... :o ;) )

well, i get this a LOT!my bf isnt exactly a drop dead gorgeous hunk. he's kind of chubby, has a nice face (very important!), and is the same height as me.

we've been going out for three years and i love him to bits. probably gonna get married to him. why was i attracted to him?cuz he wasnt like any other guy i had dated. he wanted to ask me out but he was so nervous i had to ask him out instead. he treats me with respect, he's just as passionate about animals as i am, he reads me like a book. and he loves me for me. and of course, the most important thing is that amber (my over-protective, over-possessive dog) loves him too. and sometimes i get pissed cuz he spends more time with my dogs than me!

How do you explain Peter Stringfellow (if you heard of him :tape: )
or that guy from KISS :tape: (he claims to have shagged 4700 women

Mick Hucknall was also experimented on
a girl had her heart beat and eye-pupil dilations tested

two good looking men, didnt cause her heart beat to rise or her pupils to grow.
but when Mick Hucknall (and it wasnt even him, a lookalike) her heartbeat rose to 117bpm and her pupils grew.

Money talks :o

Yes, it's true, attractive women are drawn to ugly men WHO HAVE LOTS OF MONEY! They always leave that part off.

I never dated anyone who wasn't like GQ materials lookswise. I didn't care if they were faithful, beat me, were alcoholics, were unemployed, had a disease, nothing. That stuff didn't matter. It was all about looks for me. Jess Barker and Floyd Chakley were like total Adonises.

You think I'd be caught dead at the Oscars with some dope or have children with someone ugly? Think again.

But I am, after all, me.

Have wondered about it very often too. I think it is the money.

Also have to say a very good looking man or woman outshines his/her partner. That is the reason why we get the impression very ugly people find very attractive partners, I think....

lol at Donald Trump and his trohpy fiancee. That girl would not give him the time of day if he didn't have money. He is chubby, has a weak chin, lips look like coochie and bad hair. To me some of these girls are high class whores......selling that coochie to the highest bidder****end of rant****

And Donald Trump probably wouldn't give them the time of day if they didn't look like supermodels... does that make him a Grade A pimp?

I don't really see how what he is doing is any better than what women who go for men with money are doing

But hey... don't let me trample on the women-hating party...

Biologically weare al still in the stone age.
Females are attracted by males who has a high rank in the society (in our culture it means money or political power) Everyone goes for the leader of the pack.

Males are attracted by females that can give them offsprings. A woman is most fertile around 20, that is the reason to men finding young women's bodies so exciting.

$$$$$$$$$$$$

And also, it depends on taste. I like older men that some people would think are really ugly but I find them attractive.

much the same thing was asked of me when Persephone married Hades, and i often had to point out that while Hades was not someone who'd win beauty contests, he did have a large kingdom, Erebus, considerable power and some movable property.

similary when Aphrodite married Hepheastus, its was because he had a monopoly on the jewellery and trinket trade in those times, being a brilliant smith and all that, which meant he was mostly rolling in golden talents.

in short, money talks. not for everyone equally maybe but for most an engaging conversation with liquid assets is very persuasive.
