View Full Version : 2005 League Table Manager Schedule

SpikeyAidanm
Dec 13th, 2004, 09:32 AM
Like last year we need many players to opt in their time to run a PAW tournament, which will involve updating a league table after each day's play.

In 2004, we had players such as zorgzamesnip, geegables, Rossana Fan, nave 2, marcobarella, andrew_uk, crazillo, jrm, ghosts + sandg & myself who helped up. :)

Please commit so for tournament(s) in this thread :D

Cheers:)

What? Will you able to update the standing and stuff like that at late night like 4am in your time? Don't think so. You better running other tournamenrs in North and South America.

We are 2 so it's more simple! :)

But I don't want to start a fight for this so I think Sandg or Spikey will decide.

It looks as though I'll not be able to run the tournament next week actually, things have suddenly come up, unfortunately and I won't be able to run it as efficently as I have been, and I don't want to have to bail on ya'll later in the week.

(if there is absolutley no one else in the world wide world to take it though ill do my best, but it might be a little rough. i'd need someone to send me the entry list, but hopefully there is someone else, bc i wont be at my best next week)

Hi Spikey...

I'm nervous about running a tournament, but I want to try. I feel bad that you and sandg do the vast amount of tournaments. I don't know how to do scoring points, but I'm quite good at tabulation. I'm wondering if you can "train" us by overseeing our running a tournament.

I'm thinking about Amelia Island....

I would like to run some tourneys in the future ;)

I would love to run 75k Dinan from April 4th as an alternative for Amelia Island (that would be great, cause Amelia would not have that much participation and second I would learn how to run a tournament :D . But the problem is we need a new points calculation for this event  I hope I can run that though ;))

Furthermore, due to the excellent managment of the ITF Tournaments in France this tourney will probably be easier to run than some Tier IIs in the US :D

Okay I'll try, I'd love a partner in helping run it....

Also do you have a template for the league table, and how do you calculate points? Manually? OR using a program?

thanks...

What is "template" ?

I thaught its very difficult run PAW pure manually, at least we used spreadsheet to do calculation.

I just do collect all picks data and give code number (its mannually) then made the picks data to be structured data. From it, I can make the LT, Picks Summary and others statistics table.

I need a break after long weeks running PAW.

next week, I can't run & play in PAW Modena. I hope anyone can take over it. PAW Modena is low tier tournament but big number players will play in (estimated 100s players), because of just one tournament in a week.
