View Full Version : Gift Suggestions for Lindsay (per country)

Okay I was thinking about this and since Lindsay has confirmed she will play in Australia, etc.

I was wondering if the TOP fans wanted to give her something, aka a memento (faxes of well wishes), I have no idea what, but someone can give her something on behind of the fans at the tournaments she plays.

ETA: changed the title from farewell to gift suggestions

Meh I'm not sure LL would like that. She's said she really doesn't like to think about something like that, her visiting a tournament for the last time, etc. I think she just wants to go quietly without much fanfare. No big tributes, announcements, etc, because she'll just cry or something.

Also, it would be way too early to give her something like this, considering she could potentially be playing for over a year...

No what I meant was something from the country, aka Australia a kangaroo / koala - could be anything just to remember the fans by.

I've seen a hell of a lot of people do this - it's better than throwing twenty pieces of paper at her wishing her good luck <g>

well from england we could give her a jar of rain water...unuasal i know but when she does retire she will miss wimbledon and the rain delays and the rain is different in america as it s here in the uk.

or we could give her some proper beer...none of this budwiser crap that comes from the states

... and it's unlucky to buy baby stuff before the babies born.

At wimbledon we could throw fish and chips at her... or tea!

Tokyo - one of those Tamaguci kind of pets <g>

Nah seriously I could definitely arrange a koala or a kangaroo and if anyone wanted names to put on there to let me know - mind you small details can be fixed up in January since it's Oct now <g>
