Hey

I am just interested in what people study and where :) Or what they studied in the past!

I am a Freshman in the Rotterdam School of Management (Erasmus University) in Rotterdam, obviously. I study International Business Administration, which is an English-language program comprising over eighty nationalities in total and over thirty or forty in my year.

OMG that must be so cool to get to know so many different cultures but at the same time I guess that it's not always easy dealing with people who have really different values and ways of thinking...

Me I'm from Montréal, Québec, Canada (french is my first language
;) ) and I'm doing my Ph. D in Nutrition at the Medicine Faculty of Montreal University. I'm doing my research at the Vascular Immunology lab in Notre Dame Hospital and I should finnish in about a year or so :bounce: .

The Erasmus Program is a program set up by the European Union to promote the foreign exchange of students and even teachers within the European Union. The Erasmus University does take part in this program, but it is not the same ;) The Program and University were both named after the Dutch thinker Erasmus, so that's why ;)

Yeah it can be really interesting :) About 35% is from abroad, but most Dutch students, unlike myself, have international backgrounds as well. Sometimes I get annoyed with the amount of arrogant people that take this course as well, but I will get over it ;)

I graduated from university in 1999. I studied law in Tilburg. That is in the south of the Netherlands for those that don't know. It's the best place to study law in our country (according to many surveys held over the years), because it's one of the smallest universities we have and you don't feel like just a number rather than a person.

And moreover, Louvain-la-Neuve is a cool city.
