I saw this on another website where they showed some of EBay's weirdest auctions and people are actually bidding money for :o :tape:

My favourite was the air guitar (there's 10 available) -
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=621&item=3751867688&rd=1

Or the "Genuine Irish Ghost In a Bottle" which someone bought for £255 after 34 bids
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5525211815&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT

A Packet for crisps touched by Jerry Springer went for £50
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=6122486048&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT

A 16 year old offering friendship for year. He is "a rocker who is into anything hardcore" apparently :tape:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1523&item=5526449015&rd=1

A supermarket carrier bag
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=324&item=5523840401&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

A cup of tea
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1468&item=5524295093&rd=1[url]

And look at this one and see if you can see the small print showing how the winner of this got majorly ripped off :tape:

People are stupid enough to actually spend money on things like this? Maybe it's just a British thing? I am sure there are even weirder and sillier things people are bidding for out there. £255 for a ghost in a bottle? I am certainly not throwing out my Smirnoff Ice bottles now - there's money to be made here! :p

the thing about the ghost is that I will be really scare if I accidentally open the bottle thinking the ghost came out or something... hahah

I guess some people just have too much extra cash to bid on things like this

I saw on Jay Leno the other week he was showing crzy stuff on ebay. Someone sold Justin Timberlake's French toast, someone was trying to sell their brother, and a chip shaped like a cowboy boot went for over $3000

Actually that person who put on 30,000 is more dumb than whoever will bid, coz if one person do a prank and bid on it without actually paying (very easy to create a false account) the owner with the bid have to pay a very very hefty commision :tape:

nah, coz the person who made the "ad" can file a non payment report, so then ebay wouldn't charge the commission if they didn't get the money...

I like the "Ghost in a Bottle" deal. No doubt it was a drunken Irish man, probably that's how they got him into the bottle to begin with.

You know whoever got that is going to turn that lil 8" Irish Spirit loose, then it will reek hell on all the earth.
