The Challenger the week before Amelia Is. always has had a pretty good field , this year the 8th seeded player was ranked around 55 in a 75K event.

so its looking good <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> i'm sure it will get stronger.

An excellent field. They've got to be happy at the prospect of having at least one player who will be in or near the top 10.

Monica Seles is expected to be a late entrant- its her hometown.

Yeah, I think Monica will play. I think it depends on whether or not she enters Memphis, as this would give her 3 lower-tiered tournaments in a 52 week period, and I don't know how the WTA will handle that request, because they refused Hingis last year, I believe, when she wanted to enter Rosmalen again.
