Occording to studies done, 1 out of 4 Americans eat fast food everyday. This has made a contribution to the 60 percent of Americans who are overweight/obese in the US. So my question to everyone is how often do you eat McDonalds, Burger King, Taco Bell, etc??

I enjoy McDonalds french fries on the occasional long drive, but that's it. I find meat from these establishments repulsive.

Never go to McDonalds or Burger King but I have fish and chips or a pizza maybe once a fortnight. I don't think it's unhealthy in moderation. Having hang ups about certain kinds of foods or food types is unhealthy.

Maybe once a month if I'm desperate. But, luckily I'm a vegetarian and these places barely cater for my kind of people ;)

Way more than I should. Maybe 3 times a week.

I worked at Maccas (McDonalds) for 3 years and I sure as hell make sure I get a fresh burger everytime. I know all their tricks.

2 or 3 times a month. I once went to McDonalds every lunchtime for about 3 weeks. Eventually you just start to feel sick. I was about 12 at the time so really wasn't aware of what fast food does to you.

I've been quite bad this week though. I went to pizza hut on Friday and then had a chinese takeaway on Saturday.

Very hard to resist fast food sometimes. Where I stay there a 3 McDonalds all within a few hundred yards of each other, plus all the pizza places.

never eat at McDonalds or Burger King, but that's because i don't like burgers. occasionally have a KFC but the last time must have been about 3 or 4 months ago
if i eat "fast food" i'd prefer a pizza or a Chinese or Indian takeaway :lick: though i prefer to make food myself :)

Once a month..or even less; Pizza Hut. I used to go to a hamburger restaurant (Quick) three/four times a month before I became a vegetarian...

Chinese Takeaway. Pizza, Kebabs, and fish and chips --- all a must.

Not big on maccas, kfc or burger king.
I like the odd cheeseburger when im hungover though... nothing beats driving through maccas at 3:30am for a large double cheeseburger meal after nightclubbing!

Well, I eat stuff like McDonalds when there is nothing else to eat. Like if I'm on a road trip on a limited budget... Then I'll eat it.

I used to have a weakness for Taco Bell but I got over that... but I don't think Taco Bell is that bad for you... It surely can't make you fat cause you shit it out after about an hour or so.

And I like KFC but eat it very rarely. And I know that they probably serve me rotten chicken that when it was alive lived a terrible life but... It tastes nice...

I eat pizza a lot though... Like I'm kinda thinking I might get pizza tonight.

I like Popeye's spicy, and I eat all the skin, too. I'm 86, so what's it going to do, shorten my life, lol? Anyway, I don't like the other crap at the other restaurants. I have a cook, so I don't have to resort to eating at crap places very often.

Do I seriously want to die from fatty food that encompasses my diet? :p

I order chinese takeout about once a week, but that isn't so bad. That is my weakness and I think I work hard for it. I hardly ever eat at McD's or BK. If I do, I limit myself. I have either fries or chicken mcnuggets, but never a full meal. I prefer places like Subway, Cousins, Jimmy John's, and Quizno's because they have very healthy choices. I usually snack on cheese sticks, tuna, cherry tomatoes, or nuts. I'm grateful that I am disciplined and that I can enjoy healthy food, but sometimes I would much rather eat artery-clogging fat-laden meals.

Normally about 2 to 3 time per month. Normally when I gone out with my brother or with friends.

What's the purpose of Columbus Day? I'm bored as hell.

Umm, I eat fast food when I'm too lazy to make my own lunch. But even then if I go to McDonalds I get a chicken sandwich. I know this sounds selfish, but I don't always enjoy it when people invite me out to lunch or dinner, because I usually end up eating three times what I normally would.

Aren't we biblically told not to eat the meats of hooved animals ;) But that subject is for another thread. As for fast food, I have the Long John Silvers fishies or KFC chicken once every week and a half. It's great 'cuz I've weened myself from a Taco Hell addiction and haven't had slab of death handburger in months (can't remember the last time).

does Panera Bread count as fast food? I say no, because it is more like a Deli/Bakery. In that case, I have not touched fast food in three years. It is simply nasty.

how the HELL was it peaceful?:o All they ever did was fight each other. I mean, they were worse than 1600-1800 Europe even, and that is saying something.

It is a rare occassion these days! I do like fast food but it is so calorie and fat dense with very low nutritional payoff...it just isn't worth it. I do believe that they put addictive chemicals in the food that mess with you on a cellular level.

I crave junk but instead of driving thru, I keep driving by :p

How silly of me :o I assumed having your land stolen, women (children) pillaged, chiefs slaughtered, receiving disease-ladened blankets (as gifts), having buffalo (your souce of food, housing, pottery, clothing, etc.) killed for sport, being introduced to an array of sexually-transmitted diseases, and being uprooted and forced to walk a Trail of Tears (and being crammed into reservations unfit for living) was worse than the living arrangement they were accustomed to :).

It really depends. Some days I can go for 3 or 4 hours at a time with no fast food. I call those my fasting days. Other days I have one of my assistants strapped with a pager so that when I get a craving they can be immediately alerted to fetch me a large family sized bucket of KFC ( extra tasty crispy... not original) or whatever fast food craving I have. I'm trying to cut back though.

Once a month is more than enough for me. I don't like fast food much anyway, but the KFC salads are nice.

Yes we still have Wendy's :); though the owner died a couple years ago :sobbing:. I liked Wendy's when I was in Jr. High, but stopped when it hit the news that someone found a finger in their caesar salad; that and I realized that the chilli-chips-n-cheese was 50% chips, 15% chilli-n-cheese, and 35% slime :tape::lol::D.

I haven't enough time to lunch corretly because of my sooo short break at 12 a.m :o so I had to eat sandwiches or hamburgers! (so my average is 4 times a week) But when I have time I am used to eating something different.

hardly at all - though i must admit when im in another country and im tired of trying their traditional dishes etc.. and on the verge of starving - i tend to love fast food (ie; KFC, Burger King, McDonalds, etc.. ) :o - but once back in the US i tend to swear them off for the most part (besides an occassional taco bell :lick: )
