So incredibly pathetic that about 3 or 4 no-name Uzbekistani players (who would likely be certified bagel girls if they only had the money to travel) will now be getting WTA rankings, and decent ones at that, by beating up one other Uzbekistani bagel girls. Where are Nancy and Dewonder and Amy Dillingham?

of cause the local girls get's their chance here. Ivanna Isroilova could have been ranked around 200 if she had had the money to travel. With absolut no chance to travel and compete abroad this is their big chance to get attention, and maybe, just taste the word, s-p-o-n-s-o-r. With an average salary at less than 200$ a year, how could parents, and clubs send their tennis hopefulls around the world?

good luck to all the Uzbek girls:kiss:  :bounce: :bounce:

Look out for
Isroilova:kiss:
Sitdjemileva:kiss:
Arutyunova:kiss:

i think you're over-reacting. What do you have against the Uzbekistani bagel girls? They most likely live in complete poverty while the rich, bank-rolled by Daddy, bagel girls like Loeffler Caro and Co. have a cushy life traveling around the world losing 6-0 6-0. Can't you find anything else to condemn besides a few poor, broke, Uzbek female tennis players?

Ivanna Isroilova reached the semi final in the wimbledon juniors 2002, last year she was in the final in the Asian Championship. Sad, there is no money to travel. Last year she had to leave a ITF tournament in Spain before the quarter final, unless she would have been sranded:sad: She is definitely no Bagel-girl material;) Her only "sponsor" now is her old Babuska, who have followed Ivanna since Ivanna was the star of the swimming-club in Tashkent.

Let us consentrate on the ball and hope for a good turnament:kiss:

Very well said -- wishing all the girls from Uzbekistan much luck in this tournament. Hopefully, Tulyaganova will return soon.

Certainly understand your message here -- wishing the girls from Uzbekistan much luck. However, it's worth noting that Loeffler Caro is not bankrolled by anyone. I read that she is a secretary, who makes a little money, saves it and goes to play tournaments because she loves the game. While there are girls who have sponsors, there are many from all types of countries who scrape up the money to compete, simply because they love to play and enjoy the competition!

Can´t be that bad, main draw place nearly guaranteed

they were in qualies until a few days ago

I saw Ivana Isroilova playing in vigo last year. She left the tournament without saying anything when she was in semifinals and the organization of the tournament were frustrated. She mustn´t have done that...but I wish the best luck to her because she plays very well!!!

All of those howering around 200 should call Tuomas Ketola and ask how to make most of it when one isn´t going to hit Top 50, ever. Conclution - there are journeymen but not journewomen. :yeah: to all journeymen :)

Absolutely, I've been following Isroilova's carreer since she was in juniors and I consider her as very talented.
