Its kinda weird, but I like it...I was listening to it on a post in HMV and nearly fell asleep there and then it was that relaxing.

It's just an amazing album!!! I was scared cause so many of my best artist (particularly P.J Harvey and Tori Amos) have gone downhill but Björk still finds a way to reinvent herself and keep it fresh. This album had the same emotionnal impact on me as ''Post''; it's just sublime. There's not, to me, a single track that's so-so and I can't put this cd down.

Gosh. I have all of Bjork's albums, but thought this one was utter tosh from start to finish. I was really disappointed.

its very, very very wierd but overall i really adore it, it shows that bjork is a true brilliant goddess... my view of the tracklisting, out of a 5L:

the pleasure is all mine- 3, the beginng voices are crazy great
show me forgiveness- 1, maybe the worst song on the cd, kind of boring and lacks any coherency
where is the line- 5, great song, shows bjorks vocal talent and a ctachy chorus that you will sing in your head for days
vokuro- 5, a great icelandic lullaby song effortlessly and beautifully by bjork
oil burton- 4, a lovely little nonsense filler in
who is it- 4, a cute song, basically, with another ctachy chorus
submarine- 2, when im in the mood, it can be a really good song, but most o the time it kind of creeps me out- the guys voice is very strange
desired constellation- 5+!!!!; a truly beautiful song, brought me to tears the first time that i had listened to it- when she utters HOW AM I GOING TO MAKE IT RIGHT? it sounds so gut wrenching and poetic
oceania- 4, a good song, and the best part of it is the random OHHH!!!!!'s that occur tice in the song
sonnets/unrealities XI- 5+!!!; i think this is the best song on the cd- i think bjork is so brilliant to take a great piece of poeetry and write an astonishing and heart breaking song to it, every time i listen i want to cry
ancestors- 3, the breathing is really wierd and the songs are really wierd and her voice is really wierd, but somehow, it works
mouths cradle- 4, sounds kind of like bjork from homogenic and vespertine, like going back to her roots a bit, good song
mivikudags- 4, another cute nonsense filler in
triumph of our heart- 1, maybe a good song to put on bjorks first techo-esque cd, debut, but definatly not here- it does not fit in at all and i dont really like it all

I have had it on high rotation for the last three weeks...I need to stop listening to it for a while and come back to it...it is very dense and layered and I am finding it hard to latch onto any particular standout tracks. The production is lovely and lush.
I adore much of her work, but as I approach my music from a pop angle, this album is difficult to enjoy from that sort of perspective...I have no doubt it will grow on me though.
It is certainly working on some level for me, as I am yet to remove it from the cd player and keep hitting repeat! It is certainly a very interesting musical piece - as I expect from Bjork.

I can't possibly stop listening to it !!!
Mouth's Cradle, Where is the Line , Oceania and Sonnets/Unrealities XI are the best songs for me, but I was a little disappointed by Who Is It ? and Show me Forgiveness... :yeah:

BJORK forever !!! :inlove:

I agree and I forgot to say that this album is not necessarily for the pop lovers, but wel if you're a Björk's fan, you know this; and it's not as ''commercial'' as the others. I agree that, although I was hooked after the 1st listenning, this album has so much depth that you need to listen to it many times before really getting it.

It's kind of a weird recommandation but you should really try to listen to it with some headphones, the experience is quite different.
