Avacados

I haven't had any desire to eat an avacado till today so I went out to buy one. I'm a little confused. It didn't have much flavor. Did I buy an unripe one? What should it taste like? :confused:

By itself, it is mostly just texture. Much better as guacamole :) !

I dunno, but the avocados I get here in Florida are tasteless too compared to that of Caribbean.

I hear those green florida avacados are different from the blackish ones from california which is what I bought. How did the carribean ones taste?

i personally dont like avocados/guacamole in my food...EXCEPT for dessert...mash it add some milk and condensed milk, sugar, and shaved ice :drool:...i know it sounds weird but its good ;)

love them....peel, remove seed, cut into wedges and squeeze some lemon juice on it....make sure it is cold...YUM!
