Neve and Gliz, these are the mascots
of the up-coming Olympic Winter Games
of Torino 2006: the most original couple
in the history of the Olympics.

She, a soft, friendly and elegant
snowball. He a lively, playful ice cube. Neve and Gliz remind us, in the shapes
of their bodies and in sounds of their
names, the two elements indispensable
for the performance of the winter
disciplines: snow and ice.

bof...the athens mascotts were much better....

I've just been on the official website www.torino2006.org (http://www.torino2006.org) where you can see a whole little movie with the mascots practising different winter sports... they're kinda cute and sweet... and of course, I guess my view is a tad biased ;)

I like it, glad that athens and torino don't use animal as mascot for once, it is refreshing !!
