Kournikova beat Coetzer earlier tonight in the exhibition at the palace of aurburn hills. Amanda didn't play well at all and Anna looked brillant at times throughout the match.
In the mixed doubles with the Jenson's:
Coetzer/M.Jenson def. Kournikova/L.Jenson 7-6(4)

Thanks for the info...but doesn't sound good for Amanda? How did she look? what was most poor about her game?

Really? Wow, after beating both Jennifer and now Amanda, it seems that Anna is really getting things back together. Of course these are exhibitions, though, so I'm sure the players aren't at all playing their best. Would like to see Anna pull herself back up in the rankings though, so hopefully this is a good sign for 2002.

very nice results for anna these past two days http://www.contrabandent.com/pez//kao/otn/pcheers1.gif...and she doesn't seem to be having any problems with her foot now so that's even better...
as long as she takes caution, does the proper stretching, she'll have her foot back to its old playing condition and hopefully she'll continue with this formhttp://www.contrabandent.com/pez//kao/otn/pblob5.gif....
