Hi Elena,

First : Congrats for this year. Your season is amazing :worship:
I miss you at Hasselt. Some of my teachers have decided to put a compulsory lecture the day where I was supposed to come to Hasselt.
But maybe I could see you in live next year at Antwerp, Toronto or Hasselt. ;)

Bon anniversaire

P.S. : I didn't know if you prefer having a french or an english message.

I still can't believe Elena has played in the finals of 2 of the last 3 majors.
She's the only player to reach 2 slam finals in 2004.
I've never seen more competitive heart than Elena showed in that third set against Capriati in the US Open semis.
That was amazing, and I'll always remember it.

Hey Alyona, here's me again! :wavey:

First of all, I wanna wish you all the best in your birthday and I really hope your birthday gift this year will be the Kremlin Cup Trophy :) (Please, steal it from Nastya  ). I know this tournament in Moscow is very appreciated by all Russians and it wouldnt be different with you. That's why all of your fans will be behind you this week, supporting you all the time and all of your fans from wtaworld really really hope you'll achieve this dream of taking Moscow title.

I also wanna congratulate you for reaching 2 Grand Slam finals this season, what a great improvement you had from last year, but unfortunately you didnt take those titles. But dont worry, your time is still coming and I believe 2005 will be a much better year and you'll have better moments that will be remarkable, not only in your career, but especially in your life.

Oops, I almost forgot to congratulate you for the Hasselt title. What a great fight, for sure the tour lacks of players with the same fighting spirit you have, who never gives up and always try your best to overcome tough situations. You really deserved a title this year and thank God you could take it last week. Hopefully you'll still take more :)

Good Luck in Moscow and in the next tournaments, I hope you'll improve much more with Olga and will be able to make your dreams come true.

Best wishes from your biggest Brazilian fan, Luís

Lena :wavey:

Letter from me, Steph, again. :D (http://wtaworld.com/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=210#)me very happy with your US. Open and Hasselt results. I am very proud of you. (http://wtaworld.com/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=210#)You are the best fighter on tour, and no one can be compared with you and “your fighting spirit”. As you may recall, I went to see you playing in New York City in the first week of USO, and I came back to my city, Philadelphia, to watch you on TV. Lena you have no idea you made me laugh and cry at the same time. After you beat Amelie Momo (the match in which you had to also fight with your thigh injury and upset stomach), my hands were shaking, and I almost couldn’t compose myself. I was like an insane girl at that time...hahaha. :p And you did it again in the Semifianl match against Jennifer Cappy. :bigclap: Oh my gosh…what a match especially in set 3.   Damn damn proud of you. And then in Hasselt, you cam back from 0-6 set 1 and 1-4 0-40 set 3 to beat LenaB and to win the title. Oh my…you’re so amazing, Lena!

Ohhhhh… and HAVE A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Lena. :bdaycake: Being 23 is something huh. I wish you all the best. Plz have fun and enjoy life on the tour. I love your attitude on court very much. You never get down on yourself no matter what. And sometimes, you smile and make some funny face. I love that in you a lotttttttttttttttttttt. By the way, I can’t believe you don’t have a driving license haha. Plz get one Lena. (Don’t try to drive illegally, but in case you do, it’s ok hehe. :p )

One more thing, thank you very much for answering my question about the dearest Patrick, you doggie. :inlove: I posted the inquiry on BBC website around US Open time, and you did reply it. :D:D:D I am happy he is well in Moscow. He is so adorable. :hearts: :hearts: You know, I am a doggie lover too. There are 12 doggies in my house now. More to come..haha.

Last but not least, good luck in Kremlin Cup, Lena. It would be a perfect birthday present for you if you win it. Again…I love you very much, Lena. All the best to you. :hearts: :hearts: :hearts: :hearts: :hearts: :hearts: :hearts: :hearts: :hearts: :hearts: :hearts: :hearts: :hearts:

Steph

PS. Is that you who posts messages on your website forum? If it’s you, that’s damn fantastic. Plz write in English sometime, Lena. I would like to post something there too.

Secondly, congratulations on the first title of 2004 in Hasselt. The way you won your 4th title in your career was so incredible. I am so happy for you, Elena. :)

Good luck in Moscow. Just keep fighting like you always do. Keep improving your game and your day to hold up the grand slam trophy will come soon.

Hi Lena,

Before everything else, I would like to congratulate for being the only tennis player, in this year, who reached the two finals of the Grand Slam. Unfortunately I couldn't accompany Roland Garros, but I saw you playing against Amélie and Capriati. And what wonderful matches! In the match against Mau Resmo you, beyond to show a good perfomance, still had to fight against the pain on the leg and your stomach. Against Capriati, you simply gave her a "six love" and at the third set you provided one of the most espetacular set already saw. In that match I almost run crazy with each point earned, and obvious we can't forget the final. You, that came from two very exhausting matchs, fought until the end. I simply couldn't watch that game, I had to go to my mother's bedroom cause I was near to explode my nerves.

Congratulations, also, for your first title of the year at Hasselt. Defeat Bovina actually wasn't easy. Before lose the set by 6 - 0, it's always difficult to return tho the game, but you, beyond gave back the 6 - 0, still turned the placar from 4 -1 to 6 - 4. Congratulations to you resistance, for you ability of keep the head up in the hardest hours and for your fighting spirit. You're a warrior.

Since by now I want to wish a happy birthday to you, and that you can play tennis for more and more years with health and realize all your dreams. Good luck at Kremlin Cup, I know you like so much to play in Moscow and wish you a good game and te conquest of your second title of the year. Even in Brazil (where I was born and live) I'll be supporting you. Don't forget, Alyona, you're able.
