Warning Switz...I'ts very intriguing...

OMG…I’m as giddy as a crackhead in Colombia…

So, we had been missing each other all week till Friday. On Friday, I was changing at the far end of the locker room. The locker room curves around so at the end, you have more privacy…and that’s the where I always change if there is space. Just as I was about to drop my boxers to put on my shorts he comes out of the shower with his towel around him. I just froze up and never just muttered, “what’s up man” and he did the same…I guess I was kind of scared that if I looked at him I might get hard and he would call me a fag and run off.

Today, me and my boy Mike were doing back and biceps and he just jumped in with us…We talked about reality shows…we both love the Amazing Race and The Aprentice. I decided to test him and said, Tyra Banks has a show too…” and he was like, “yeah, Americas Next Top Model”…:tape: I’m not saying anything…I’m just saying…:tape:

To make a long story short…He is 24…he is from Brooklyn…He lives in Fort Green Brooklyn now and his older brother is his roommate…He Went to Morgan State University in Maryland and he works for AIG. So he had his cell phone with him and took my number…I always leave mine in the office so he told me when he gets back to work he will call me from his cell phone so I can save his number… We are gonna try and have drinks on Friday after work but It depends because he is going to DC either late Friday evening or early Saturday Morning…But get this…he was like if not Friday, he will be back from DC late Saturday night so we can have brunch in the city on Sunday…Brunch? :bounce: :bounce:

Hon, I've been in Hollywood since the 1930's, I can tell the difference between a pitcher and a catcher, because Hollywood is full of both. A pitcher doesn't pine away in a romantic fashion for some guy at a gym, he goes up, makes the date, and gets laid, no bullshit! Maybe you just haven't met the right pitcher yet.

Um, none of my biz, but isn't that a lot of personal info about a person to post on a public site? What if he's not out at work, or to his family? Anyone could be reading this site. I'd say an edit is in order, but again, none of my biz. And no, I am not homophobic, internally or otherwise, I just think that it is the gym guy's info and his to choose with whom it is shared.

Monty dear, I can only hope that you are as successful as I was. Oh, by the way hon, the TV movies, guesting on the likes of Judging Amy and posting on this board is how I kill time during my golden years. I’m glad that someone such as yourself sacrifices your precious youth to spend time with geriactresses like me and Hel. It’s so nice of you, Monty, considering that you probably have better things to do with your time but we’re flattered that we’re more interesting to you than going out to nightclubs or other social activities associated with your generation. It’s refreshing that you’re here at wtaworld so much because so many of your peers prefer doing other things like going to parties and the like. Aren't they pathetic?

Oy. More tragic than I thought. Sal had to be consoled on the set every day because Jimmy D didn't pay him that kind of attention (Jimmy preferred blonds).

Don't mean to scare you or anything Cam'ron, but what if this guy turns out to be straight, homophobic and has a history of gay bashing? I guess that would be the worst case scenario, so you can't expect any worse than that... unless he's a serial killer with a penchance for torture, looking for his next victim. :tape: ;) Sorry, but anything is possible these days. I'd ask for a police clearance from him before doing anything with him. Lol.

That’s highly plausible! Monty Clift, the fragile fey thing, was beaten to a pulp when he was lured into the dimly lit shrubbery of The Coconut Grove (during an Oscar show, no less) by what he thought was an admirer. Be careful, Cam. We wouldn’t want anything to happen to you (that you don’t want to happen to you).

Bravo, Hel! That was that Sal we all remember. Jimmy D used to joke that Sal’s favorite book was The Catcher in the Lie. Ha! Though rumour has it that Jimmy himself “caught” on occasion. At least that’s what his gardener Jose blabbed in his accented English to Louella and Hedda.

Yes, Cam, please be careful because we’d all hate to see you post a thread about how the gym guy lured you back to his house and how he had dishonourable intentions and how you were physically and/or mentally hurt in the process. That would be just awful.

Oh it was my pleasure to give you advise but it’s not new because truthfully, hon, people always ask me for advise. Do they ask you for advise? I know they definitely ask Hel for advise. Right, Hel? I can't understand the touchiness of some people, really, we're not calling you straight or something. I love it when gay men flip if they feel someone thinks they're more of a bottom, sort of strange, no? They have no problem with getting called gay, but a bottom? They go nuts at the thought.

Sal Mineo was from the Bronx and his family was Sicilian, so really, I even have to admit, that's tougher than being from Brooklyn. You shouldn't be so fast to say you're not like him! Who says a raging poof bottom can't be tough and from the Bronx? Too many stereotypes today, Cam, unless you're in bed with someone, how can you really know? I'm just saying you gush like a 14-year old girl about men you meet in public and have school-girlish fantasies about them. The pitchers I know generally aren't like that, but what the hell do I know, being a dame and having been married to straight gay-hating men.

I'm just glad Neely and I were able to set you straight today.

Cam, why does it matter that you’re “all man”? If you like to be fruity like Monty and Sal, that’s your business. Whether you’re a catcher or a pitcher, in the end you’re still "light in your loafers" so it doesn’t matter what position you play. To say that you’re “all man” means you don’t want people to think you’re a Paul Lynde or Wayland Flowers type of gay guy but do you think homophobes are going to make that kind of distinction? Hon, it sounds like you do, that you think you’ll be accepted because you’re not a sissy. Trust Hel and I because we were around at a time when the likes of Rock Hudson was paying girls to be seen on his arm at the Brown Derby while his cabana boy was waiting for him at home. That was the 50’s so attitudes have changed. Yes, hon, there’s still some knuckleheads around but there has been some form of progression in the tolerance of homosexuals so you really can be yourself now.

Hon, it’s not often I say this so savour it. I agree with Hel. Pitchers don’t gush. Catchers, on the other hand, do and you talking about this gym guy like he’s all “dreamy” would lead me to the same conclusion as it did Hel. A pitcher talking about his latest conquest and how screwed the crap out of her is not the same as “there’s this guy at the gym and he winked at me, blah blah”.
