If Serena won, that can only mean one thing: NO MARIANA ALVES!!

It was a local cancer Event. The tennis was kinda ugly to be honest.

When is tennis ever pretty between Jen and Serena? http://wtaworld.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif Was it dramatic, at least?

Well, the Wimbledon slaughter this year was pretty. It more than makes up for these other 3 losses to Jen. :D

Being an exhibition I knew it wouldn't be a blowout by Serena. But she won, and thats what counts.

Why don't we talk about something that's actually important rather than who won like how much money they raised for cancer research? Or was who won the exo match more important than the reason they were playing in the first place?

I would rather have Jennifer win a dramatic US Open match than an exhibition match against Serena Williams any day.
The travesty is that even after her assisted quaterfinal win at the US Open, she still could not take the title with the biggest contenders out of the open. Very sad indeed.:o   ;)

In GM it is. ANything else would be more suited for Non-Tennis.

Well the bottom line Jenn advanced further than Serena in the Us Open not to mention French & even when Serena got to the Wimby Final Maria kicked her butt:) Go Jenny!:)

It's too bad these two had to play again. I've grown way passed tired of seeing Serena play Jen in any capacity.

Sep 18th, 2004, 06:11 AM
i so would, but i'm so fucked up right now... it wouldn't really be words
it was like not 100% effort.. good shots sometimes, nasty ass 2nd set from SW. Jenny was up a break eraly in 3erd set but it was like staged or whatever like exo's are.

good time,... Jenny was smiling and like just nearly underhanded served a couple times cuz she DF'ed a lot. LOL

even though it was for charity, i wouldn't be enjoying it if i was Serena either.

ugly tennis is the norm between these two for the past few years. so i guess it was a typical match :) nice for them to do it for the fans though.
