Well, it kinda hard to explain but its like umm... backward slide, I think. I watched this movie in a long time ago and can't remember much, though.

Hurley is telling you it! For the fun I watched it "right" once, nothing special then (except you go nuts from rewinding).
But y'all gotta admit it's great the first time! I went to see it without any knowledge (except a hottie and a great director), and the first half hour I was like wooooooooooow, wtf??!!

If I could remember :) correctly, the story told in chronological order is pretty simple: You can get a table which explains the story from front to back, or is that back to front?, in this page: http://www.designpattern.org/mementofaq.htm
Yes, the script is mediocre but this is one of the few movies I have seen where the structure of the movie or the style the story is told is closely linked with the content of the script or the main subject matter of the movie. So, I wouldn't call the whole movie mediocre.

It's like saying Roddick is mediocre or nothing special without his serve. Well, his game is based around the fact that he has a great serve, you can't take that away from him and start judging his game after. Same thing for that movie... It makes no sense to judge it if you remove the backwards aspect.
Pretty good anology and I agree Dr. :)
