View Full Version : Trivial Question: Wedding ring = right hand = Where?

I read that in some European countries, women wear their wedding ring on their right hand.

I was wondering in which countries this happens, because it's not the UK (obviously), and I'd never heard of this before.

think when anna showed up with her GINORMOUS wedding ring at san diego in 2001, they said it couldn't be one since she wore it on her left hand. so maybe they do it in russia?

I'm not sure which countries do this, maybe in Eastern Europe? I know that some left handed people wear there wedding ring on the ring hand, even in th UK.

The ring I have, that's my "wedding ring" I wear on my right hand. Because I like to do more things left handed than right handed and I find it gets in the way. :o

shit I thought it was supposed to be on the right hand  I am a European, but I haven't been conscious about this stuff. I could call my mom, but she's probably asleep.
Yeah. right hand. why would it be left? then again, why right?
Btw it's really stupid this "right=good" thing still lingers around (in my culture anyways), I have some friends who immediately delete a lefthanded guy from the possible-dating-list

Hmmm, that can be interpreted both good and bad.

But I'll assume only good can be found in Jonathan Crane, so

" :o Thank you, Jonathan, you're making me blush, naughty boy!"
