I'm sad, because this december will be an exhibition weekend held here in Belgium.
Lindsay was scheduled to play here with Justine Henin-Hardenne, Nathalie Dechy and Elena Dementieva, but she couldn't come due to her ingure  .
She is replaced by Anastasia Myskina.
It will be the first that I would have see her in live.
I really hope she will be fine, because it will be so sad that she can't make the YEC, after such a great year!

I think you'll find she pulled out of the exhibition in December because it would mean no 1 if she decided to play on she wouldn't have any break between the EoY Champs and the Australian Summer season.
Or if she retires at the EoY Champs, then she doesn't want to play on after that.
If she was out because of injury right now it would have been stated all over the press by now.

Her injury isn't uber-serious....there's no way she's out for the rest of the season.

I will make my self clear.
She was scheduled to play that exhibition. But she retraced herself.
For the rest I don't know more

will you pleasewe STOP making statements on behalf on Lindsay. You do not KNOW that she is out for the rest of the season.
Sep 17th, 2004, 01:14 AM
Will you please stop calling people "wank" and "wanker?"
Sep 17th, 2004, 02:05 AM
I'm not making statements on behalf of Lindsay or anyone else. I'm saying she won't be out for the rest of the season. And again, I'm not sure how anyone can see these posts as "appropriate".

You just made a statement in your previous post.
"I'm saying she won't be out for the rest of the season." IS a statement.
Please understand what i am trying to say. You do not know that Lindsay won't be out for the rest of the season. You are assuming she won't be.
What I don't understand is how anyone finfs your posts apprpriate or civilised.
Sep 17th, 2004, 02:56 AM
You've got to be kidding me.
I am personally guarenteeing 100% that Lindsay will not be out for the rest of the season. I'm not sure how this is so offensive.
And my posts are civilized. I'm not sure how you think my posts are not, when I'm not the one calling people queens, wanks, telling others to stuff in, and launching open attacks.
With each post, you lose the argument more. So just stop.
Sep 17th, 2004, 12:34 PM
If you cannot see how this is offensive then i rest my case. I will just pretend you do not exist from now on.

Hmmm...What exactly did that original post say?
Thanks for moderating though, jacs. :)

I don't think she will be out for the rest of the season either. She is just playing a sensible and reduced schedule. Players do often pull out of exhibitions for numerous different reasons. As has been said if she is to play on next year she will need a break and then need to prepare for the Oz Open or at least thats how I see it. Its not written in stone, of course, its just feelings on the matter, folks:cool:
