NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- "Honey, nobody knows more about
being done wrong to than me. Well, maybe Martha Stewart but that's another
story," says the queen of done-me-wrong Joan Rivers, host of CMT 40 GREATEST
DONE ME WRONG SONGS premiering Saturday, Sept. 18 at 8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT* on
CMT.
The fashion diva and comedienne delves into the side of country music most
near and dear to her heart, as host of the two-hour original special that
counts down the best cheating, backstabbing and revenge-filled country songs
ever recorded.
Lending her timeless wisecracks, Rivers takes a look at some of the best
ways to say "kiss off" in country music. Special celebrity appearances include
Linda Gray and Morgan Fairchild - famous for their respective roles in
"Dallas" and "Falcon Crest" as the always-wronged woman.
Whether it's Aaron Tippin's "Kiss This," Shania Twain's "Whose Bed Have
Your Boots Been Under" or Hank Williams' "Your Cheatin' Heart," CMT 40
GREATEST DONE ME WRONG SONGS covers the gamut of this much sung about topic in
country music.

Wow Joanie, you're all over the place since you lost that E! gig. I guess you're trying to branch out and get more of Jerry Springer's trailer trash following going on.

Sally, if it hasn't already occurred to you, Joan would dye her skin black, get an afro, a new set of boobs and do a rap duet with Lil' Kim if it meant a big financial score.

I took on this job on the promise is would be up against The Emmys on E! and now it's on Saturday? So now the live botox surgery and my planned attack on guest Shania Twain will go to waste as it won't take any of E's ratings! That was the only reason I was taking this dead-end gig. You think I did it for the slack jawed yokels who watch CMT?!

Hey, Floyd used to watch CMT!! I dropped it off our cable when he bit the dust, though, I'm the Bombshell from Brooklyn, not the Bumpkin from Bluepatch!
