(Sal, don't worry. It's only the Hallmark Channel. She didn't even have your clout to get a Lifetime flick. Poor thing. But I should be nice because she is an Emmy winner like you and me.)

HELLO AGAIN: Karen Valentine – yes, she of the groundbreaking ‘70s high school drama “Room 222” -- says her Hallmark Channel “Wedding Daze” telepic opposite John Larroquette was the perfect vehicle for her to quietly slip back into TV work. They play a couple of empty nesters whose three daughters not only move back home, but end up planning to all get married on the same day. French Stewart plays a flamboyant “nuptial designer.”

Valentine, who’s been steadily doing stage regional theater, national tours and off-Broadway since leaving Hollywood, recently moved back to California. She views her casting the Sept. 6 “Wedding Daze” as divine order. She returned to her hometown of Sebastopol, California to serve as Grand Marshall of its Apple Blossom Festival Parade, did a local radio interview, mentioned she’s still acting, and the host wound up introducing Karen to a writer on the project.

uh huh... "regional stage theater." That means running the school play at the local high school. What a disgrace that woman is. I guess some people have staying power and others don't.

They say "slip back into TV work" ? More like beg and plead for years to do anything! I'd like to see a recent picture to scrutinize the quality of her plastic surgery, brb.

She’s a piece of work that Karen Valentine hiding out on a fourth-rate cable outlet. Hons, when I did my guest shot on Judging Amy this year, Tyne tried to give me grief for being an Emmy winner and doing episodics but I reminded her that Mackie still has a tape of a weekend he spent with her brother Tim, you know, the one on Wings. She quickly changed the subject to the glory of days of SAG when I was pres.

I can't find any recent shots. That only means one thing and it's not good.

I really think she makes an effort at looking hideous. No one is that bad looking in reality. I wonder if she could land Star Jones' boyfriend?

that's a tough one. I don't know if she's pulling in as much money as Star at the moment. Maybe she still gets royalties for Cagney and Lacy but when's the last time you saw that in reruns?

The face looks presentable, the Emmy people must have air-brushed the picture so as not to scare the public.

When I was 9 months pregnant with the twins, I had less girth than she does in this picture.

That Karen Valentine pic is a trip down memory lane. I had the hots for her during the room 222 days. There's something about that overbite...
