HLN news got its info from last night's VTM newscast. A word of caution: this is not an official announcement and could not even be confirmed. Granted, it is a very likely date, but just keep in mind that this is not official (yet).

Well I got another date but it is possible that she'll be in Belgium than and be in Australia in February. It will be weird to have her in february in Australia because Antwerp starts on february 14th and I really don't think she want to miss that ;)
Wouldn't it be a great promotial thing and super for her fans to come back to Antwerp/Belgium as misses hewitt? ;)

It is such a great news!! I'm so happy for kim, she really deserves a man as hewit!!
It will be a great wedding!!
In belgium there was a program calles 'Tapazz' with sven ornelis and you know what the designer of kim's weddingclothes was there, he was a bit exentric but cool and sven asked the designer how the dress would be look like and the designer said that it would be a great suprise for our all because she would wear something very special and different, something you wouldn't expect of Kim clijsters; so i think it will be interesting wedding

Congrats to them but why February? Why put that stress on yourself during the season? Why not do it during the off season? Oh well. Congrats to them again.

Lucky for Australia then that he doesn't intend to do that unless Australia sinks to the bottom of the ocean as Kim put it.

good for her, i mean Kim Clijsters is cool enough when it's on the ranking chart. it would be weird if it's Kim Clijsters-Hewitt.

And I think our Belgian mates have told us that in Belgium it is not common practice anyway for women to take their husbands' names when they marry (they just take the money! ;) ) Bloody sensible too if you ask me! I'd hate to lose my name.

Women in Belgium take their husbands name ;) some women don't, other do...

Dominique Monami -> Dominique Van Roost

Oh no they don't :p - especially not in Flanders (I heard it might be different in Wallonia, but I don't know).

I didn't, none of my friends did, none of my (former) collegues did, and not even my mother or her friends/collegues did. And rightly so. Why should you have to loose your name after marriage, as if you cease to exist as a person? :fiery: :p.

Kim Clijsters-Hewitt it sounds nice ;-).

And that does not sound so nice as Clijsters-Hewitt, imo...

So why Justine is Henin-Hardenne?

I propose :

Kim Cllijsters Love Hewitt.

That's a nice looking name ;-).

Anyway, on your identitycard you always keep your own name, and I think that is quite different from other countries.

Well I haven't changed my name neither.

But if they change it, it's normally the men's name first and then the maiden name.
