Well guys it has been a long time since I have been so bummed about a Linday loss. But today I am definitely still reeling over her semifinal loss.

I guess it's because deep down I knew this was her once great chance for one more Open. I guess I am bummed because I know the end of her career is near. As much as I want her to decide to play in 2005, I have to accept the fact this may be it for her in 2004.

Sorry to be a mushhead folks. I still love ya Lindsay and I am just sorry this was not meant to be.......

Cheer up, she may still play 2005. I still think she has a good chance at the Oz Open as long as she is fit. Lets be positive ;)

I just rewatched Lindsay's semi and she SO should come back for 2005, she can win a slam.

Lindsay unijured won the first set 6-1 and played awesome tennis, I think it was far more about Lindsay playing well than Svetlana playing badly. Then, which I didn't like, Lindsay conceded the last two games of the second set [resigning herself to losing it and wanting a fresh third set] before getting the trainers; that annoyed me. Then in the next free games Lindsay moved as well as in the first set to see if she could pull it off, holding serve and breaking. Then, she knew her body couldn't continue moving so much. When it was 4-4 and she was a break down she was resigned to losing. So close! I really hope she comes back as her tennis is supreme right now. It was painful to watch when Lindsay couldn't transfer her weight, it was a horrible way to go out.

I will be gutted if she doesn't come back but hopefully she win the YEC.
