It's the way Jen has to get a win over Serena

It was horrible but Serena earned much respect and admiration as she's due. She's going to use this to really represent in 2005.

Can u guyz believe the Jenn fans defending her actions. In no way am I suggesting that it's Jenn's repsponsibility to call lines, truthfully it's not. What disapointed me most was her comments after the match on court. "I've gotten enough bad calls in my career I deserve some in my favor"- I'm paraphrasing, but it was something to that end. Disgusting. I can accept Serena lossing, us fans know that's not the issue- it's just sad beyond words that Serena had to fight against a quality opponent in Jenn, the lines men, and the Chair Umpire- she's good, but come on?!?!?!

I can believe the Jen fans defending her actions. I'm not surprised by it. You are a reflection of who and what you support. So I can see how Jen is okay by them.

The fact that they can't understand that it's okay to have integrity as a player and to be fair is sad. As it's sad that they can't see the hypocrisy in Jen and how she accepts a hollow win.

I'm disappointed in her comments and I'm not surprised they aren't. Jen wants this to go away and so do they. It's like a thief being caught with a prized good. They don't want the wrong type of attention even though that's the only thing that is warranted.

Jen showed her lack of character and you could see she knew - her shoulders were hunched and sagged in all her interviews and she was shifty trying to get talk away from the bad line calls. When a player basically says the line calls were okay because she got them in the past and that she was owed, it shows you they suck.

Serena didn't lose today and Jen didn't beat her. Jen was helped by a faulty line judge and calls that weren't hers to keep.

Karma is a BITCH and it bit Jen square on her ass today. Excellent!

Serena will be back, 2005, I'm sure! I want her to win the French Open again if nothing else next year.

I will die a little inside if I don't see an all Williams final next year.

The best thing about true champions is how they battle to regain significance in their respective sports. We've seen Venus respond after Serena won her first GS, we seen Serena respond after going a few slams without winning, we've seen Steffi respond during her last year on tour (couldn't help but bring her in...haha)- The point is TRUE CHAMPIONS find a way. That's why I'm really looking forward to next season. I expect big things from Serena and I know there are a lot of other 'Champs' out there who can't wait to regain significance, Justine, Venus, and Kim to name a few. No matter how deep the field, or how competitive tennis may be now of days, true chmapion ALWAYZ find a way to rise to the occassion, that's what makes them the elite. ...can't wait!!!!

Actually I'm really lookin' forward to the YEC this year- this year is not completely over, we've got a lil' more tennis to get through this year!!
