OMG, it still amazes me how people can be so defensive and take things seriously! :haha:

I got about 3 bad reps for my demtieva thread after new haven ;) You'l get about 20 for a sharapova one prob :p

Yes, she should retire, she is 17, her carrer is soooo over, her losses have been so pathetic since wimby - Pierce :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:

I don't know why Maria fans are being uptight about this, I think a lot of people saw this coming. She's lost sets to players she is far superior too. While in this match, Pierce had to be more on her game than Sharapova had to be, I think with the way Pierce has been playing, especially her win over Venus in Athens, it was pretty clear if Sharapova played around and lots her concentration and went three sets today, she was going to lose...and she did.

As a matter of fact...I've said on numerous occassions that Maria would only be able to win if she would raise her level...And she didn't...47 UE's and 14 DF's are just too many...

So I'm not really suprised with this loss to be honest...

But what you call uptight is just dissapointment...Although I've seen this coming, I'm still dissapointed...
