After her victory, she got on the floor and said a silent prayer, then thanked God and Jesus for her victory.

Was she just stunned and happy or was she truly expressing her faith?

She's religious. I remember in one of her matches (was it at Wimbledon?), she was wearing a cross and holding on to it quite often.

Yes she's religious. The year she won Roland Garros, she wore a "chain' (is it correct ?). She talked about her faith etc...

I think she became more religious when dating Roberto Alomar. I read that in an interview somewhere years back. She also used to wear a rosary around her neck when she played.

I believe Mary and her brother are Christians. David had a Christian t-shirt on at one of Mary's matches at the Acura.

If you remember mary used to have incredibly long pre-service tituals which looked as if she blessed every ball before she served it.

Why was Mary so excited to win this match? I mean it's not like she has been struggling. She just beat Venus in Athens. She has been playing well.

I hope God Answers her prayers.

It's often mentioned that Ashley Harkleroad brought a bible with her on tour. That's a few years ago; don't know about now.

Well a few years back she used to wear a rosary to most of her mathces and would always find herself fixing it between serves and before serving her bombs. I do think she is religious, besides isnt she quebecois? If so they are traditionally catholic certainly christian, so thats the more reason for why she would be religious. Nonetheless some individuals do wear rosaries as part of their entourage and its disrespectful, but to each ones his/her own, we are all entitled to see and do things differently.
