Exhaustion!?

She is playing Bali next in 10 days, another low tier event on her schedule after Sopot which she skipped without giving a reason. Hopefully she wont tire herself out too soon, she has Moscow to defend.
Too bad for Vera though, I'm sure she'll happy to partner with Elena D too had Nastya w/o earlier.:(

I feel sorry for Nastya. I think that she was not recovered from losing to Justin.
It may take times for her to get over it. I hope she can get through it.

It sounds like Greenout was correct about her getting burnout. I think she has to cut down some of her scheule otherwise she will ended up looking like Dorkic.

Looking at the Bali roster... if she DOESNT win it, then... well... she needs to take a long hard look at things.

Yeah, she is isnt she....good she already got a grand slam though:).
And to think she has already cut down her schedule comparing to the past years:o.
Hopefully she'll skip the doubles altogether, nowadays, it's not easy to excel in singles and doubles at the same time.

No surprise she skipped it, didn´t she also skipped out of Wimby´s doubles? Hehe...if I were a player I would never play doubles with Nastya;)

Bali? She should go there, soak up the sun and stuff and try to get the fun of playing tennis back again AND she should bring the video with her beating "the personal menace" Justine at Leipzig´03 along with her and watch it every evening!!! LOL

I think she was just disappointed that she lost in singles and she didnt feel like playing doubles. When you lose, it feels like it takes a lot more energy out of you than when you win.

Wow...Anastasia...that's SELFISH. Poor Vera just got screwed over.

Better luck next time Vera, and chose partners that dont suffer from the Dokic-Scheduling syndrome.
