I think Pato and Paola are too nervous. They are one of our few hopes of getting a gold medal in a long bunch of years, while the chinese have nothing to lose, plus China is winning in every sport!

Chinese always play their best when they plaay for the olympics, unlike some tennis players in some other countries who don't give a flying shit whether they lose in first round or not :cough: Henman :cough:

Without being able to see the match, I would guess it is a combination of Paola's nerves, Pato's serving and the Chinese girls playing consistantly well.

Incidentally, as something totally unrelated, to fill in the time before I refresh the scoreboard again, Pato, Paola and Tian Tian are all former mixed doubles partners of Gaston Etlis!! I believe Li is the only player on court who hasn't had the honour of losing 1st or 2nd round with him! lol! ;)
