With the defeat of Martina and Lisa, this means for the first time since tennis was reintroduced as an Olympic sport, the USA women will not win a medal of any kind.

saw the match on Bravo and wasn't that impressed by Lisa. for someone whos so good at doubles she kept hitting floaters back to Asagoe/Sugiyama, she could have put them away right at their body. martina seemed to be getting pissed at her alot too.

Well done Ai and Shinobu! :woohoo: I'm really happy with how much they've improved since they first started playing together at the beginning of the U.S. hardcourt season :)

I thought this was an awesome match so back and forth. Ai and shinobu played awesome. I thought both teams played pretty good and yeah lisa had some powder puff shots but she also had some amazing angles i thought everyone played good

They were having sooo much fun out there! Shinobu's outgoing personality really brings Ai's personality to life and it's fun to watch them laughing and joking and running around and pumping eachother up! That was a great win. I would say they are the favorites for the gold!!! :bounce:
