:confused: Grass and harcourt is similar how? Yes Ai will be a tough opponent...as she always is...Just because Alicia is Australian doesn't mean her fav surface is grass. If It's blustery Alicia will slam Ai in 2 sets. Alicia in 3 for me....but I like Ai so if she beats Alicia she better win a medal.:wavey:

First of all you're right a weapon=big shot, but it also can be an advantage that u have over u're oponent( I think). I'd consider experience a weapon becuase Ai has been around for a while. She knows how to handle the big points better than Sprem at the moment. This is not to take anything away from Sprem(believe me I like her alot) but she still doesn't know how to play the big points. She just plays her game and goes for it, no matter what the score. On the other hand Ai will play more hig-percentage to get the break pt., set pt. whatever. But the longer Sprem is around, the more she'll know how to play those break points.

Yes, I admit that K'lina did hit herself out of the match, but u have to give some credit to Ai. She makes the power players hit more shots then they want to in a rally thus creating an unforced error, and sometimes uses their pace against them. Not to mention her ability to come in put balls away at the net.

Karolina might be the better player in the end of both career, she probably will, because Ai really didn't start playing great singles until 2001& 2002 unfortunately. But will see. Don't predict anything.

Ai :hearts: Let everyone keep underestimating you. Speed and tactics are weapons, too... Just ask Myskina ;)

Seriously, though, I'm sure Karolina didn't play her very best, but I'm equally sure Ai's play had something to do with that. Ai is a consistent counterpuncher who can force Karolina to hit shots she might not be comfortable with. Her speed also forces opponents to go for just a bit more.

As for Karolina... This is not a horrible loss. She's shown she has the ability to win these matches, now she just needs to keep focused and concentrate on being consistent on the big points. Maybe taking some pace off and rallying with placement if need be. That will be the next step in her progress, but the top 10 is surely in her future! :yeah:

Mr. Molik, I like Alicia a lot but it is easier said than done to "outplay" Ai in a match from the baseline...This will definately not be an easy win for Alicia or Ai. I think it will be close but I wouldn't say that Alicia will roll over Ai, there's a reason she is able to beat top players like Clijsters, Henin-Hardenne, Capriati, Davenport and is a top ten player (Even though presently she's like 90 points outside of the Top Ten).

I think Ai will win but it will be a great match I hope!
