Congratulations Amelie and good luck in the rest of the tourney. And thanks Chanda for stringing together a couple of matches to appease your meager fans.

Congrats Momo :worship:

People has been questioning Momo since the first round. That she might "CHOKE" and "BREAKDOWN" losing to Conchita. Then come some one dillusional[sp?] fans who boast about Momo's loss past YEARS. Then come another speculation that a rising star from Europe :tape: is going to UPSET Momo while she herself is struggling to win her next round.

While me being her fan will just sit back and hoping for a medal win.

Chanda :o :( is it possible for you to at LEAST put up some sort of fight in these matches against the top players. it's one thing losing, but to keep losing with winning only a few games is getting embarrassing.Tennis-wise, this is the most depressing day ever:(

Well done Amélie! Such a great match to win and a huge confidence builder, considering Chanda seemed to always have her number before.

Bounce back Chanda - Good luck at the US Open!

Not a surprise, but still... I wish Chanda could have at least made it a bit tougher for Amelie. Still, I have to say that for anyone to write her off from ever being a top 15 or even top 10 player again is jumping the gun. Chanda's come back strong from serious injuries before, and I truly believe she's got the game to get back to where she was if her body stays intact. It'll just take more matches (esp. against top players) to get the mentality back. :)

Thumbs up to Amelie, though! :yeah: It's always good to see her do well, and I hope she can keep up her form for the US Open. It's the perfect time for a Grand Slam breakthrough... ;)

Chanda  :sobbing: Still searching for her old form. I hope she can capture it in New York.

Felicitations Amelie! :yeah: In my opinion she's the one to beat here. Hopefully her rash isn't too uncomfortable and doesn't affect her play. Allez! :D
