When I yesterday checked the results I noticed what a great match Daniilidou versus Maleeva must have been. I think, there must have been a great atmosphere. German TV decided not to broadcast that match. Why should they do? I really don`t like players torturing themselves and their bodies by playing with cramps. They harm themselves. On the other side these matches are what an Olympic or a Grand Slam tournament are made for. Brilliant play, enthousiastic fans, a tense atmosphere... Fans like to suffer with their favorite. Much, much respect for Daniilidou who tried everything in front of her homecrowd. :worship: Hope, she can beat Myskina next. German TV, it is pathetic not to broadcast such a match because you show a German who is trying to win the Gold medal of the knit competition...

U are so damn right. But, if Maleeva or Daniilidou were Germans they would have broadcasted it. Even Luis said Eleni´s first match was broadcasted in Brazil CUZ OF ELENI. They should show more respect towards her. :p

Well, I saw Maggie in Montreal 3 times and if someone won 6-1, 6-2 it would have been no problem not to show it. But when it is thaaat dramatic (plus a native) they should do it cuz of her...
