Does Maria have the game to take out a less that perfect Justine. I didn't think that Strycova??? had what it takes but Vento-Kabchi has had some decent results. I think a SF or two on the summer hardcourts. I was just wondering how her game would match up with Henin-Hardenne.

No. Maria isn't fast or consistent and does not possess major weapons. The latter will always beat Justine, the former will sometimes beat a sick/recovering Justine.

sorry but its Maria Vento-Kabchi not Maria sanchez Lorenzo who is going to play Juju next round.

I think Anyone in the top 50 had a chance against Juju now, she is still rusty.
but knowing how Juju is as a fighter, anybody in there would have to play out of their mind to take out juju, if Maria can do that she will have justine though i doubt it happening.

I still believ the real test for Juju in the Olympics is Venus in the QF.
go for gold Justine! Allez!!

No, I don't think so. I mean, she doesn't have many weapons to hurt Justine, even though she is more match tough.

Vento-Kabchi is fast around the court, actually, and she has great flat groundstrokes. Her backhand can do some damage agfainst Henin, for sure.

Maria can definitely win this one and I hope she does.

I think Maria's game is a little dangerous for Justine so Justine better bring her best at this match. I'm afraid of her rustiness. Good Luck Justine

I love both players as i was a huge justine henin hardenne fan in 2001 ish. I think maria can. She's pulled in a special coach to help her play for the olympics and i'm sure she is determined to do well. In terms of versing justine, she thinks justine is a great player and i know for a fact she is friends with justine outside. I think justine might prevail in 3 sets but maria can for sure eliminate her and i hope she does

Yes, she can take her out for a dinner, for sure. Since PY is in Belgium, she needs some company in the long evenings...

so a player with big weapons will always beat Justine?

hmmm ok, I guess Davenport, Clijsters, Capriati, Myskina, Serena don't have any big weapons

No. Justine beat her 6-2 6-1. Justine shouldn't have let that last game get away from her, but 6-1 isn't bad. ;)
