Mary Joe Fernandez delivered seven titles in a distinguished career that saw her reach No. 4 in the world. But Fernandez's greatest delivery came yesterday. The ESPN tennis analyst and her husband Tony Godsick — an IMG agent who works with Tommy Haas, Monica Seles and Lindsay Davenport — became first-time parents yesterday morning. Fernandez gave birth to a baby girl, Isabella Maria Godsick, in Miami.

Baby Isabella weighs eight pounds, 12 ounces and is 21 inches long. Both mother and daughter are reportedly happy and healthy and father is beaming with joy.

P.S. - Mary Joe was a fine player. But to my surprise she won only won 7 WTA titles in her career. She would have won many more titles if not for all those injuries. I wish she was still playing! Mary Joe is missed!
