I am hoping this defeat against Myskina will be a blessing in disguise. Hopefully she would learn from the mistakes she made after going 5-2 up in 1st set. She has a very good draw and not many hard players to beat in her half of the draw. I think she can win, fingers crossed. What do you guys think?

If that b**** Myskina is there, and Maria doesn't meet her until the finals, hopefully Maria can either win or come second.

Please don't use vulgar language...You'll get banned...
Myskina is in the other half of the draw, so Masha won't meet her until the final...

Sorry, I didn't realize that bus ty was over the top.
I'd just like to see her fall on her face.
Big girls who gang up on... never mind.

Why are you insulting Myskina? Its not her fault she did what she had to do, at Maria's expense.

Even if myskina plays her, doesn't mean maria will lose again.

PS myskina is in the other half of the fraw.

i believe that there's not a huge amount of top-level players... so if that's right, and especially if she has a good draw, then she should go well. i cant wait!

Here's the draw:

Maria has a bye in the first round so she'll probably won't play on tuesday. By the way, why isn't Maria's biography on the official site???

Baffling considering she is the hot new star of the WTA right now.

It may be because Maria was a late wildcard entry into the tournament.
Maybe they havent had a chance to update the website properly.
