Jehova's Witnesses do not celebrate Christmas, Birthdays, or basically any religious holiday at all. They believe that it is their mission to spread their version of the word of God across the planet, hence the door to door selling of religion. I know that the Book of Revelations is a keystone to the faith, and they oft predict the end of the world (at least thrice since their inception in the late 1800s.)

They also believe that only 144,000 'select' will go to heaven (out of all the people ever born) and that you cannot receive transfusions (blood and organ donations or IVF fertilizations). And that we are at the end of the world soon.

I wonder if the Williamses are among those 144,000

Maybe they can be persuaded to convert to the Church of Pam.

They build their churches themselves in one day, often without windows. The congregation shows up, and they build it, right then and there. It's not a creepy thing, but they're just not real good builders, and windows are hard. I thought the no windows thing was creepy but I did a show with a witness once and she explained it's just that windows take building experience, it's easier to just do a brick wall.

They tithe a lot. The witnesses in PBG must be rolling in dough.

Both Venus & Serena are Jehovas Witnesses. They don't celebrate many holidays, including birthdays, and some go door to door (obviously not the sisters) spreading their religion. I forget what these people are called, though.

some of your info is wrong ... you can find out more at www.watchtower.org (http://www.watchtower.org)
and btw serena and venus are not part of the 144,000 nor are they really Jehovah's Witnesses. They are like studying to be but they do not follow all of their beliefs and are not qualified as practicing Jehovah's witnesses.

there is in fact no tithe ... all contributions are voluntary and when someone donates it is not public knowledge so for those who do not have very much means they do not feel obligated to donate.

in fact all Jehovah's Witnesses are obligated to preach door to door because it is what Jesus commanded of his folowers in Matthew 28 to make disciples. Like i said before venus and serena do not do so, therefore for this and more reasons they are not infact Jehovah's Witnesses, but they are like studying to become so.

The two witnesses I've known said it is important and expected to give money.

they are definitely expected to but it is up to there conscience.. also ... they believe that if a poor member gives 2 pennies it is more valuable than if a rich person gives 2 thousand .. u understand?? it is not a tithe

Bloody Hell, do you have to pass an exam to join this religion then? Do you get a certificate and a graduation ball too?
