I would love to say she will reach the no.1 but that would be a bit of a stretch... but realistically she has a great chance of breaking in the top 3 and my prediction goes even further: no.2

Hopefully Top 5. The ranking numbers, and Age Eligibility Rule make it difficult for her to do more.

Why do you insist in writing "Sharapove" ???

Yes, is that some kind of disease? It's SharapovA! Is it really that difficult???

I think she will win San Diego, New Haven, Tokyo, Seoul, Tokyo, and the Year Ending Championships in addition to losing the finals of the US Open to LD. Therefore, top 3 is very likely.

Well she has only a few points to defned at the USO, and she will probably make it to the end of the year championships, where even winning one match gets you some nice quality points. I think she will go up to around 5 or 6 by the end of the year.

Great chance to become #2  .......
Yes, she does have a chance to win US Open, and yes I do like her.
But this is going too far.....
She is lucky if she can get into top 5.

I think she should reach no.2 at least....I mean if you win san diego, the Open and the YECīs, that alone is beacoup de points, then add a title her or there during the fall and voila...even no.1 ainīt out of reach. Watch out for next year...itīs gonna be GRAND SLAM time baby!!

She will gain a lot of points in the US Open for sure as she has none to defend as she only reached 2nd round last time. Maybe 2nd by the end of the year. Anywhere in top 5 would be ok.

let's see if Maria wins anything first, because with Lindsay on a roll, it would be tough

Does anyone here has a clue why people keep saying "SharapovE" instead of "SharapovA"????

I think that's how her name was supposed to be spelled... have you noticed that her father's name is Sharapov instead of sharapovA?

Yes, but that's common in Russian. Like with Marat Safin and Dinara Safina.
I'm sure it's not supposed to be spelled "SharapovE"........
