I was searching Ebay for tennis memorabilia and it caught my attention that a large number of items are related to a handful of players. So, I tried to search individual players and here're the numbers (of items listed for auction) I found:

Anna K. 537
Sharapova 303
Serena 211
Venus 84
Capriati 40
Daniela 16
Davenport 9
Kim 8
Dementieva 4
Justine 3
Myskina 3
Sprem 0

This is from the U.S. Ebay site so the results reflect how well-known a player is in the U.S. I am sure a Russian site will have more of Myskina and Elena D. But here you can see why Davenport never got blockbuster endorsement deals like the Williams sisters or even Capriati had. She is simply not as popular. Another truth is that, in the popular view (in the U.S.) there're only three big stars (Anna, Maria & Serena) in women's tennis.

Just for fun, some numbers for men, too:

Agassi 258
Roddick 171
Sampras 134
Federer 32
Safin 10

also, sometimes ebay is spammed by people who sell single pictures and put each up separately. that's often the case after someone wins a big tournament. for instance, after federer defended wimbledon, i didn't even bother looking for a tape of the match because there were 350+ results and many of them were still frame shots that people were trying to sell.
