What are they going to be for the Olympics?

I'm wondering because I see Likhovtseva and Zvonareva are beating Myskina and Dementieva at the Acura right now... But I thought for most of the year Kuznetsova & Likhovtseva had played together, and so did Myskina & Zvonareva?

Svetlana/Elena Likhovtseva (for sure) and Elena D./Nastya M. (a guess)

Oh, Elena is playing doubles? But she is playing with Vera this week. They havent paired up for some time already. Dementieva/Myskina I think is more sure than Elena's team.

Oh, that's right. I'd forgotten Vera wasn't going to Athens. That would explain the Myskina/Dementieva pairing... But if Likhovtseva & Svetlana are going, tenn_ace, I wonder why they aren't playing together at the moment? They've been one of the best teams this year, but it's strange they aren't playing together so soon before the Olympics.

Sveta/Elena is a bet. Lena L. is playing with Vera just in this tournament. I think, Sveta is taking a break from doubles. She played a lot of tennis this year (in terms of total matches played). It seems like she is getting mentally tired.

That makes sense, tenn ace. Sveta definitely has played a lot of tennis this year! :)

somewhere in the Russian Roulette I posted a thread comparing her records with Kim's from last year in total matched played (as of Eastbourne, I think, week)... it looked really scary.
