Lindsay and the Zone.

I don't post much, mainly because not a lot about womens tennis excites me at the moment and unless I have something postive to say or something I feel contributes to the board, I don't post.

Lindsay Davenport. I think she is playing some of the best tennis of her Career. The way she has gone about things since the French Open has been totally awesome. Sure she lost in the semi's at Wimbledon, but she pushed Sharapova, something Williams never did. Since then she has been like a Train, totally focused and going in the one direction. The way she has dismissed players that have caused her so much trouble in the past has been awesome. This woman is delightful to watch and if the rumour mill is true and she really is going to call an end to it all, I hope she maintains her current form and lifts that US open trophy once more. I can not think of a more worthy player. Kudo's Lindsay :)

Wow she is giving it all she has got now that the end is in sight. Hope this makes her reconsider her retirement.

Lindsay is playing great this year. I think since she has decided to end her career sometime in the near future, she is playing without pressure and is just enjoying herself. Kind of like being the new kid with nothing to lose only with a lot more experience. She doen't seem to get down on herself when things go wrong like she has in previous years. I really hope she can carry this form through the US Open.

I noticed she runs more, she fights more and she even wants to reach difficult shots of her opponents like flat slices. I think that`s it, she is going for balls now she didn`t want to play some time ago.

I see more variety and tactics in Lindsay's game now. She hits slices and run for balls more. I even love her running backhand crosscourt!!!!! OMG my queen is running for balls now. I cant ask for more for my Idol!!!!!!!! She is making me happy and it feels like me and the rest of her fans are vindicated by some mean people saying a year ago or 2 years ago that we have seen the best of QUEEN LINDSAY DAVENPORT!!!!!!!!

GO LINDSAY!!!!!!!!! I havent seen your best yet!!!!!!!!!

Just hope that she saves some of her best for when it matters too. Too often in the past she would play some mean balls in the tier II´s and the flame off when the biggies came around.
