What's up with the bonus points for the WIlliams sisters?

If a player beats Serena or Venus, what bonus points do they get?

At the french open, Myskina DID NOT get the extra bonus points for beating Venus.

But at Los Angeles last week, the WTA rankings DID give Lindsay the extra bonus points to go with their special seedings.

What's up with that?....why are they given sometimes, but not other times????

Well, it's all up to WTA.
If WTA thinks the players that beat Serena dont deserve bonus points for #1, then they wont give it to them. And for Venus it will not matter anymore.

It's up to each individual tournament. I think that's the wrong way to do things. It should be one way or not at all.
