I personally think Nike makes the best stuff, but it's too expensive for me. I generally wear Yonex stuff when I play competitive matches, just cuz for some reason I play my best tennis in Yonex clothes. I have a lucky navy blue outfit from them that always seems to bring out the best in me.

Fila also makes some nice stuff too.

Most of my tennis apparel is Nike although I wear random tshirts most of the time. But I wear Nike shorts, wrist band, shoes, and socks most of the time. My fav stuff is Sergio Tachinni but its damn hard to find in the US. Need to import it.

Oh yeah, i LOVE the Bjorn Borg classic Fila polo with the pinstripes. Jelena wore it during Roland Garros in 2001.

I have some traditinoal outfits.

I love adidas, but in the last few months I started to like other designs as well:

NIKE The one that Federer wore in the beginning of 2003 and reminds me of a Hawaii shirt lol with black shorts.

REEBOK Red shirt (my traditional tennis tournament shirt), I like to play with it as well; with ther black trosuer above or a white one by Reebok

MUSSLE SHIRTS (Name in Germany for armelss shirts) Not really made by sports brands but pretty coo lto paly with

Other things

SHOES always by adidas :) :)

I wear my favourite brand: Sergio Tacchini. It's the clothing sponsor of most of my favourite players (Hingis - Miss you!, Guillermo Garcia Lopez, Tommy Robredo, Filippo Volandri, Christophe and Olivier Rochus, Maria Elena Camerin, Flavia Pennetta.. and I am probably leaving out a few). But that's not the reason I wear this. I think it looks really nice, somewhat classy. A bit what SpikeyAidan said :)

I wear the Reebok Dri-Fit Collection, Andy Roddicks clothing basically. Tennis Warehouse had a sell and I loaded up. As long as Venus is with them, I will continue to support the Line.

This year, I switched to Adidas - cap, shirt, shorts, shoes. I wear black socks (no brand) over white socks - this is to stop any possible friction, which may cause blisters.

In previous years, I wore Nike because that was all they sold in the shops. Everyone wears Nike. I don't like being a sheep.

Jul 28th, 2004, 06:44 PM
Well, I dont coordinate my outfit or anything like that, I live in Wales, the wether is usually shite, so I wear tracksuit bottoms most of the time.

I have a selection of T-shirts I play with, but I'm not fussy.

I play in white Nike trainers all the time though, I only use them for tennis though, they keep clean and light that way.

I dont wear hats, I fiddle with them two much, I just wear oakley's on hot days, which are rear.

I always have to wear thin trainer socks (or snicker socks maybe in USA  :p )

Nike shoes for clay and a pair without brand for indoors. Reebok jacket, comfort no-names shorts, Reebok visor or cap. T-Shirt (I don´t care as long as it´s comfortable and the sleeves are not too long). The most important thing for me is the hat, I can´t play without it. I hate it when I have to push my hair back, so I need the cap...I am "capiddicted";), I even play Badminton with a hat on.

Usually I just put my hair in a ponytail that kinda resembles Beckham's. But for the days I'm too lazy to do that, I have a baby blue Wilson visor that I wear.
