Nice upset by Lena. I didn't think Nadia would struggle so much --- no offence to Lena --- , this was a match she should have won. She sure has been choking a lot recently.

Anyways, great win by Lena; always nice to see her doing well. :)

Nadia will always be the WTA's version of Gonzalez. On some days. Off most days.

 Wow what a great analogy, Leo! Hopefully for Nadia's sake she won't 'always' be that way. ;)

Yes, but she won a mere 2 games against Davenport. This is a player who had extended Lindsay to three sets in their two most recent meetings before that. Pretty sad performance. She hasn't done anything against the top players since beating an erratic Serena in the quarters of AI, and she has also struggled mightily against those that she should beat.

Her results haven't been bad; I think people --- including myself --- are expecting her to make that breakthrough, fully realize her potential, and show some regular consistency.

I agree. Nadia's needing a big result here soon. She certainly does have the potential to do better.

Lena L. beat Myskina on red clay right before RG. When she's on, she has some game.

Likhovtseva is consistent. She isn't brilliant. She never threatens to win a slam in singles, but she's a good measure of where everybody else is at. When they're playing well, they beat her, when they're playing less well, she beats them...

Well Myskina really isn't very good on clay:tape: . THAT really shows you how terribly the other players were playing at RG:o .

lena l is sneaky she always puts in some good upsets during her season but im disappointed with nadia, as someone said she is on some days off most days, she needs to have a few more good days.
